We're not just building an ecommerce platform. We’re reshaping how fashion & lifestyle brands scale globally.
Our API-first, headless SaaS platform supports over 300 brands in delivering localized, high-performance shopping experiences across 120+ countries. Backed by a 50 million SEK investment from the H&M Group, we power leading names like COS, ARKET, & Other Stories, Weekday, Nudie Jeans, and Paul Smith. Brands trust Centra to run operations in 20+ markets - a reflection of the platform’s flexibility and efficiency.
You will build and own the data backbone of our new Data & Insights module. New team, greenfield development, everything to play for.
You’ll take raw transactional data from our clients and transform it into high-performance “gold tables” that power real-time and analytical dashboards, making key architectural decisions along the way to ensure scalability, reliability, and speed.
Build data pipelines. Design and orchestrate near real-time data ingestion from client databases (CDC, AWS DMS, GCP Datastream, Azure Data Factory/Fabric, etc.)
Standardise metrics. Define and implement a single source of truth for key fashion KPIs using SQL and transformation tools (dbt, Dataform, etc.)
Own performance and scalability so that everything goes faster. Architect caching and performance layers to support fast, reliable dashboards across 300+ clients, making pragmatic trade-offs between cost, latency and complexity.
Develop APIs. Design and maintain serverless APIs (e.g. Lambda, Cloud Run) that power the frontend experience.
Expand data sources. Evaluate, ingest, and integrate new third-party data sources alongside existing datasets.
Experience building and owning data platforms or products from scratch, including making architectural decisions.
Expert-level SQL and strong experience modelling complex business domains.
Proven ability to design scalable data systems in a cloud-native environment (AWS, GCP, or similar.)
Comfortable making independent technical decisions within a product context, balancing speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.
Strong product thinking/product engineering mindset. You don’t just build tables, you understand how data drives decisions for customers and why a brand needs this data.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CDK.)
MLOps experience is a plus
You might be a senior data or analytics engineer who enjoys owning problems end-to-end, or a tech lead who prefers to stay hands-on while shaping architecture and product direction. Either way, you're excited about a role building a new module within an established company tackling complex problems in the e-commerce space.
