We are looking for a driven Software Developer Intern from KEA or similar who wants real responsibility and hands-on experience building production-ready tools.
You will play a key role in developing applications for analyzing drone performance based on flight log data (ULog), while also taking ownership of building a new full website from the ground up. Today, our platform is a simple one-pager - you will help transform it into a complete, functional product and interface.
You will work closely with one of the founders, who previously ran a software consulting company delivering solutions for large Danish enterprises, and receive direct, high-quality technical feedback throughout your internship.
You will work on the following:
Build applications for analyzing drone flight data (ULog / ULG format)
Develop Python-based pipelines to process and interpret flight logs
Design and build a full website/web application (expanding from current one-pager)
Create dashboards and interfaces using tools like Lovable (or similar)
Extract and build tools for key performance metrics such as:
Speed, climb rate, and acceleration
Power consumption and efficiency
Flight stability and control behavior
Visualize insights through graphs, dashboards, and reports
Responsibilities
Take ownership of developing and structuring our web platform
Write clean, scalable Python code for data analysis
Build and iterate on user-facing applications
Work with real drone telemetry data (e.g., PX4 ULog logs)
Collaborate closely with founders and engineers
Continuously improve performance, usability, and design
Document your work and technical decisions
What we're looking for
Currently studying at KEA (Software Development, IT, or similar)
Solid foundation in Python
Interest in building real-world applications (both backend and frontend)
Ability to take ownership and work independently
Curiosity for working with data and technical systems
Bonus (not required):
Experience with web development (frontend or full-stack)
Interest in drones, robotics, or aviation
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Plotly, Matplotlib)
Experience with low-code/full-stack tools like Lovable
What you'll gain:
Ownership of a real product used by a growing startup
Experience building a full web platform from scratch
Hands-on work with drone systems and flight data
Direct mentorship from an experienced founder with a background in consulting for large Danish companies
A strong, tangible project for your portfolio (data platform + web app)
Insight into how software is built in a fast-moving startup environment
This job comes with several perks and benefits
