Are you interested in working on software with real-world impacts? At Monil we create products which improve the lives of both farmers and animals. We solve hard problems and work with large amounts of data, all with the goal of improving animal well-fare and farmers' productivity. Monil is a Norwegian start-up founded in 2022, and we’re growing quickly. Last summer we had 15,000 collars deployed on animals.

As a summer intern in Monil, you'll get to work on interesting problems where you'll have to use your own imagination and creativity in order to find good solutions to technical challenges. You'll work in collaboration with our experienced team of engineers, as well as with other departments, creating impactful solutions to actual problems.

About the job
Monil aims to be the world's leading digital shepherd. To make this vision real, a ground breaking service needs to be developed. We get millions of datapoints from the animals each day and there are endless possibilities for how we can utilise the data. You will work closely with the data science team to analyse this data and develop algorithms and machine learning models that enhance the product and deliver valuable insights to farmers.

The internship will begin in June, with the exact start date to be agreed upon. It will last for 6-8 weeks. The application deadline is 1st of May.

It's beneficial if you have

• A bachelor's degree or are at your 4th year integrated masters

• Experience in Python

• A study related to data science or have specific interests in the field
