Use our AI nutrition coach as your real meal planner — then help us make it better.
Nutrish.ai is an AI-powered nutrition coach that creates personalized, science-backed meal plans — without calorie counting. We are building a B2B2C platform for gyms and health apps, helping them offer scalable nutrition coaching to their members.
We are launching our app soon and already working with gyms, partners, and early users.
You will be one of the first real users of our product. Not a tester clicking through checklists - an actual user with actual goals, following a real meal plan, cooking real meals, and checking in every week.
Your job is to live in the app and then tell us what it is like. Where did it feel like having a personal nutritionist? Where did it feel like talking to a robot? What made you skip logging that unplanned lunch? Why did the weekly check-in feel like a chore instead of a coaching moment?
The kind of feedback that makes products great does not come from surveys. It comes from someone who uses the product for real and is thoughtful enough to explain what they experienced.
Use the app as your actual nutrition coach
Go through onboarding, set your real goals, follow your personalized meal plan
Cook from the recipes, use the grocery list, log meals when you go off-plan
Complete weekly check-ins and interact with the AI assistant
Basically: use it the way a paying customer would
Document your experience
Keep a running log of what worked, what felt off, what confused you, and what delighted you
Capture the moments that matter — the friction, the surprises, the things you almost did but didn't
Be specific: "I didn't log my burger because the flow felt like it was judging me" is worth more than "logging could be improved"
Give structured, actionable feedback
Organize your observations into clear themes and priorities
Distinguish between small annoyances and real blockers
Suggest what it should feel like, not just what is wrong
Help shape the product
Join regular feedback sessions with the founders
Contribute your perspective to product decisions — you represent the user
Help us understand what makes someone trust an AI coach enough to stick with it
You actually want a nutrition coach — you have a real goal (lose weight, eat healthier, build muscle, meal prep better) and you would genuinely use this app for yourself
You are observant and articulate — you notice small things and can explain why they matter
You are consistent — you will use the app daily for weeks, not just try it once and forget
You are honest, not polite — we need "this felt weird and here is why," not "it is great!"
You can write clearly — your feedback will directly influence product decisions, so it needs to be understandable and well-organized
Bonus
Interest in nutrition, fitness, meal prep, or healthy eating (beyond just this role)
Experience writing reviews, blog posts, or any form of structured opinion
Background in UX, product, psychology, or communications
You have ever uninstalled an app and could write a paragraph about exactly why
Free, personalized AI nutrition coaching for the duration of the internship
Direct access to the founders — your feedback goes straight to the people building the product
A real product experience role on your resume at a launching AI startup
Mentorship from a CTO with 13+ years in engineering and product
Flexible, remote work
Every great product company needs people who understand what users actually experience — not what dashboards say they experience. That skill is the foundation of some of the most in-demand roles in tech.
This internship gives you something most junior candidates do not have: a portfolio of structured, real-world product feedback that directly influenced a shipping product. You will be able to walk into an interview and say "here is a problem I identified, here is how I communicated it, and here is what changed." That is exactly what hiring managers want to see for roles like:
Product manager — you will already know how to bridge user experience and product decisions
UX researcher — you will have real experience observing, documenting, and communicating user pain points
Customer experience / customer success — you will understand what makes users stick with a product or abandon it
Product ops or product analyst — you will know how to turn qualitative observations into structured, actionable insights
You will leave with first-hand product experience at an AI startup — during the exact moment the industry needs people who understand how AI products should feel.
We are currently bootstrapped. This is an unpaid internship initially. High performers will be top of mind for future paid Q&A roles as we grow.
