Prompt Engineer Intern at AI Health Startup

Are you curious about AI, language models, and how great prompts can shape entire products? This is a unique opportunity to get hands-on experience with prompt engineering and work closely with an experienced CTO.

This is not a typical internship. You will work directly on the core of our product, helping us build and refine an AI nutritionist used by real users and partners.

About Nutrish.ai

Nutrish.ai is an AI-powered nutrition coach that creates personalized, science-backed meal plans without calorie counting.

We are building a B2B2C platform for gyms and health apps, helping them offer scalable nutrition coaching to their members. 

We are launching our app soon and already working with gyms, partners, and early users. Now we are looking for someone to help us improve how our AI thinks, responds, and delivers value.

What you will do

Prompt engineering and AI development

• Design, test, and refine prompts for our AI nutrition coach

• Improve response quality, tone, and personalization

• Work with real user cases to optimize outputs

Structure and improve AI logic

• Help define how the AI should reason across different scenarios

• Support building flows for onboarding, meal planning, and weekly check-ins

• Collaborate closely with the CTO on implementation

Testing and iteration

• Run experiments and compare outputs

• Identify weaknesses and edge cases

• Continuously improve performance and reliability

Support product development

• Work closely with founders on core product decisions

• Help translate nutrition and user needs into AI behavior

• Contribute to building a world-class AI experience

What we are looking for

• Strong curiosity about AI and how LLMs work

• Structured thinker who enjoys problem solving

• Detail-oriented and patient with testing and iteration

• Comfortable working independently

Bonus if you have

• Experience using ChatGPT or other AI tools extensively

• Basic understanding of prompt engineering or LLMs

• Background in tech, engineering, or analytics

• Interest in health, fitness, or nutrition
