Devolens is looking for a senior fullstack product engineer to help evolve the core platform behind our B2B software licensing product.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys owning customer-facing features end to end: understanding the problem, shaping a pragmatic solution, building across C#/.NET backend and ASP.NET MVC/Razor UI, shipping safely, and following up on quality and customer impact.
We are a small team working on a mature, revenue-generating product. This is not a greenfield rewrite. You will help modernize a proven .NET application incrementally, using strong engineering judgment and AI-native workflows to move faster without compromising maintainability.
This is a Stockholm-based hybrid role. We work flexibly, but regular in-person collaboration is important. You should already be based in Sweden and able to meet in Stockholm regularly.
Devolens builds software for companies that sell, manage, and distribute software licenses. Our platform helps customers handle licensing, subscription flows, renewals, integrations, and operational workflows around software sales.
We are a small, pragmatic team with a mature product, real customers, and meaningful product and technical problems to solve. We care about simplicity, ownership, customer impact, and using modern tools — including AI — to work smarter.
You will work across the full product and technical stack, from backend services and APIs to web UI, database logic, integrations, and product workflows.
This role is for someone who thinks beyond tickets. You should be comfortable asking why something matters, clarifying the customer problem, suggesting better solutions, and taking responsibility for the result.
You will work closely with the business side and other team members to decide what to build, how to build it, and how to make the product better for customers.
You are an experienced software engineer who enjoys product ownership. You care about the customer problem, not only the implementation task.
You are comfortable working in a mature codebase. You do not need everything to be greenfield. You know how to improve systems gradually, reduce complexity, and make good trade-offs.
You use AI tools naturally in your engineering workflow — for codebase exploration, debugging, refactoring, tests, documentation, and faster iteration — while still applying your own judgment on architecture, quality, security, and maintainability.
You communicate clearly, take ownership, and like working in a small team where your decisions have visible impact.
