Finland's consumer credit regulation is tightening. Sweden's new Consumer Credit Act takes effect later this year. Across Europe, the regulatory environment for financial services marketing is becoming more complex, more scrutinized and more difficult to navigate without dedicated expertise.
Draivi is the European market leader in performance marketing within financial services, recognized three consecutive years on the Financial Times FT1000 list of Europe's fastest-growing companies. We connect consumers with financial institutions across ten markets, and we do it at scale. In 2025 we generated €30M in revenue. We are growing.
We are looking for a pragmatic and business-oriented Legal Counsel who wants to be at the center of that complexity rather than observe it from the outside.
This is not a role where legal sits downstream of business decisions. You will work directly with the CEO and management team, advising on regulatory positioning, partner negotiations and compliance strategy as they happen. You will be the first dedicated legal voice in the company, which means you will shape how we approach legal and compliance permanently, not inherit someone else's framework.
The scope is broad by design: financial regulatory compliance, consumer marketing law, GDPR, commercial contracts and labor law. If you want to specialize narrowly, this is not the right role. If you want to build something and become a genuine expert in one of the more interesting regulatory corners of European fintech, it is.
The role is flexible at fulltime or 20-30 hours per week, suited either to someone building toward a full-time in-house career or an experienced professional who wants meaningful work without a full-time commitment.

Building structure by developing and implementing standardized legal processes across the group
A Master’s degree in Law, from a Finnish university
Post-graduate experience within financial regulatory compliance, either in an in-house legal role or at a law firm or legal consultancy
Interest in developing as a broad in-house legal generalist
A pragmatic mindset and willingness to roll up your sleeves
Strong ability to build processes and structured ways of working
Ability to work independently and take ownership
Fluent Finnish and English
