At Players 1st we build software used by more than 2500 golf clubs around the world. From our office in the center of Aarhus we work with clubs in Europe, the US, Australia and beyond – helping them understand their members and guests through data and feedback.
We’re still a small team. Around ten people work out of the Aarhus office, which means you quickly learn everyone’s name, what they’re working on, and how the coffee machine actually makes the good coffee.
Being a small team also means something else: interns here don’t sit on the sidelines.
You’ll be involved in real projects, work closely with the team, and help build things that the whole company ends up using.
Right now we’re looking for an intern who is curious about AI and would like to help us make our AI features useful and understandable for our customers.
A big part of the internship will revolve around our AI Assistant and how customers actually use it in practice. We’re building new AI features into our platform, but an important part of the work is making sure our customers understand how to use them and get value from them.
You’ll help us bridge the gap between what the product can do and how customers actually use it.
That includes things like:
Creating prompt guides that help customers get better results from the AI Assistant
Developing practical AI use cases for golf clubs
Contributing to onboarding materials for new AI features
Helping explain new AI functionality when it’s launched
Alongside that, you’ll also work with how we communicate AI in a simple and useful way.
When we introduce new features, we need clear explanations, examples and small pieces of content that make it easy to understand what’s possible and how to get started.
This part of the role might involve:
Creating simple guides and educational content around AI features
Assisting with feature explainers and product communication
Helping structure knowledge and examples that customers can actually use
In other words, you’ll help turn AI from something abstract into something practical.
You’re probably studying something like information science, marketing, digital concept development, IT product development, UX, or a similar field. It’s not important to us where you study, but maybe it’s Aarhus Erhvervsakademi, AU or something completely different.
You don’t need to be an expert – but you’re curious.
You might be someone who:
Experiments with tools like ChatGPT or other AI tools
Enjoys exploring how new technology can be used in practice
Likes explaining complex things in simple ways
Is curious about how digital products are built and used
You don’t need to know anything about golf. Most of us didn’t when we started.
Working at Players 1st also means becoming part of a small, international and pretty informal team. We work closely together across roles, and because we’re not that many people, you’ll easily become a part of the team. As an intern you’ll get a mentor who’ll make sure you’re both thriving and developing throughout your internship.
Our office is located in the center of Aarhus, and the social part of work is something we actually prioritize. Sometimes that’s a Friday drink, sometimes it’s battling in mini-golf after hours. But every day it’s a great lunch with informal chats.
The internship is unpaid and full time (37 hours per week), and we’re flexible when it comes to start date. Most internships run between three and six months.
If the role sounds interesting, send us your CV and a short motivation explaining why the internship caught your attention.
