Technical Student Assistant: Operations & Customer Success

Salary Competitive

VentriJect is looking for an organized and tech-savvy Student Assistant to join our team. This role is a perfect fit for a student who wants to balance the essential operations of a health tech startup with the opportunity to apply their technical knowledge to real-world digital systems.

Who We Are

VentriJect is a Danish health tech company. We’ve developed Seismofit®, an award-winning algorithm that uses AI to estimate fitness levels (VO₂max) in just three minutes. We are a small, fast-moving team, and we need a reliable student to help us keep our daily operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing

This role is a mix of practical, "hands-on" operations and digital investigation that utilizes your technical education.

The Operational Foundation (Day-to-Day):

  • Shipping & Logistics: Helping us get our hardware to customers globally. This includes quality control of devices, packing, and booking shipments. This part of the job is based in our office.

  • Customer Support: Managing Tier 1 inquiries from our global users via our ticketing system.

Digital Support & Systems (Applying Your Studies):

  • Technical Investigation: We don't expect you to be our lead developer, but we want someone who understands how the web works. You’ll help us investigate digital hiccups in our WordPress/WooCommerce backend. If a plugin acts up or an error message appears, you’ll use your technical background to help us identify the cause.

  • System Optimization: You’ll help us research and implement tools like shipping software or CRM updates, looking at how different platforms connect via APIs to make our workflows smoother.

What We’re Looking For

  • The Academic Profile: You are currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s program (IT, Software Development, Business & Technology, Digital Design, or similar).

  • Technical Literacy: Through your studies or projects, you’ve gained a basic understanding of web development (HTML/CSS, and ideally some PHP or JS logic). You are comfortable navigating a CMS and reading technical documentation.

  • The "Detective" Mindset: You enjoy solving puzzles. When a system throws an error, you're the type to look into the "why" before asking for help.

  • Operational Reliability: You are highly organized and take pride in getting the details right—whether it's a shipping label or a technical support answer.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills.

The Practical Stuff

  • Office-Based Tasks: Physical shipping and team syncs take place at our office.

  • Required Evening Availability: Because our clients are global, evening shifts are a core part of this role. You have the flexibility to handle these—and other digital tasks—remotely once you're trained.

  • Student-Friendly: We offer a schedule that respects your university life, providing the flexibility you need during exams and lectures.

  • Start Date: Ideally May 1st, 2026, with June as the latest possible start date.

VentriJect is developing the groundbreaking Seismofit® System, a health solution that uses advanced seismocardiography and an AI algorithm to help healthcare and wellness providers assess cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) accurately and efficiently, without physical exercise. Cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF), often measured by VO₂max, is a powerful predictor of long-term health and a key indicator of a person's risk for chronic diseases. Unfortunately, current methods for measuring VO₂max are often complex, time-consuming, and require a high-intensity physical effort (e.g., on a treadmill), which makes them inaccessible to many, especially the elderly, those with mobility issues, or patients recovering from illness. This widespread problem affects millions of people globally who could benefit from a simple, accurate, and non-invasive way to assess their fitness levels. We have developed the Seismofit® System, an award-winning medical device that revolutionizes CRF measurement. Our solution uses advanced seismocardiography—a technology that records the micro-vibrations of the chest caused by heartbeats—in combination with a sophisticated AI algorithm. In under three minutes, our system provides a highly accurate estimate of VO₂max without the need for any physical exercise. This fast, simple, and non-invasive process makes it possible for healthcare and wellness providers to easily integrate CRF assessments into routine check-ups, helping them provide more personalized care and better disease prevention strategies. The spark for VentriJect was ignited by a clear unmet need in the healthcare industry. We recognized that while VO₂max is a vital health metric, its assesment was limited to specialized settings due to the demanding nature of existing tests. This created a barrier to widespread adoption, preventing countless individuals from understanding and improving their cardiorespiratory health. Our team was motivated to bridge this gap by creating a technology that could democratize access to this critical health data. By making CRF assessments simple and accessible, we are not just building a product; we are empowering healthcare providers and patients to take a proactive approach to health, with the ultimate goal of improving quality of life for millions.
