Understory exists to make it easy and convenient to run an experience business that connects humans and creates memories.

We build the operating system for experience creators, from workshops and tours to creative studios, so the business side gets simpler and the customer experience gets better. Stories matter more than stuff, and the product should reflect that.

We are a Series A-funded SaaS company with 600+ customers across the Nordics and Europe, and a team of around 60 across Aarhus and Copenhagen. We move fast with clear ownership and high standards.

The team

This position is for the Grow team. Grow helps experience businesses turn demand into bookings through high-quality paid campaigns and continuous improvements before and after the click. Customers do not just get ads, they get a repeatable way to learn what works, improve performance over time, and grow with more clarity.

About the Role

As a Marketing Associate in the Grow team, you will help scale our productized advertising service by ensuring high-quality, reliable execution across client campaigns.

This is a role for someone who takes pride in precision and operational excellence. You will work with structured templates, SOPs, and task lists to ensure campaigns go live on time and with consistent quality.

We will train you in the tools and workflows - your job is to execute them with discipline and improve them over time.

What You'll Do

• Create and quality-check ad assets using our templates and standards

• Maintain campaign setup and content with a high attention to detail

• Follow structured task lists to keep launches on time and consistent

• Communicate early when something blocks delivery

• Support ongoing performance reviews and light ops automation work

What Success Looks Like

In your first 3 months, you will:

• Master our templates and workflows

• Deliver assets with minimal rework

• Execute campaign updates reliably and on time

• Proactively flag blockers and improve small inefficiencies

What We’re Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and pride in clean execution

• Reliable and structured in meeting deadlines

• Comfortable following clear processes

• Curious and eager to learn new tools

• Fluent in either Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, or Italian, and full professional proficiency in English

Nice to have:

• Experience with Canva or Figma

• Familiarity with Airtable, Zapier, or HubSpot

• Basic understanding of paid advertising

• Completed studies in a relevant field

• Professional experience in the performance marketing space

Practical Info & Application

• Hours: Full-time, possible to start part-time e.g., due to studies.

• Duration: Ongoing employment

• Location: Aarhus (80% in-office)
