Do you want to be part of a team that changes lives and builds a global brand right here from Norway?
We are looking for a Technical Allrounder to take ownership of our internal systems, app, and data platform. You will play a key role in building the foundation for the next phase of Recharge Health, where AI, personalization, and software become the core of our product.
Recharge Health is a growing Norwegian company with a clear mission: to empower people to heal themselves using innovative technology.
Our first product, FlexBeam, is a wearable device that uses light therapy to relieve pain, boost energy, and support the body’s natural recovery, completely without side effects. FlexBeam is sold globally and has already helped thousands of people. With top athletes like Martin Ødegaard, Casper Ruud, and Aleksander Aamodt Kilde on our team, and over 40,000 units sold, we are now entering the next chapter of our journey.
We are currently upgrading our internal systems and developing our next generation of products, an evolution of both hardware and software. The FlexBeam app is becoming an AI-driven platform for health optimization, connecting user data, sensor data, and clinical knowledge to provide personalized insights and recommendations.
You will be the person who structures, integrates, and makes use of data across our systems. You’ll contribute to developing both internal tools and AI-driven user experiences.
We work iteratively and are product-driven, with short decision-making paths and close collaboration between tech, research, and product development. As our first internal developer, you will have a major influence on architecture choices, our tech stack, and our development processes.
This is a full-time position based at our office in the heart of Oslo.
You are the one who sees the "big picture" of our digital landscape and ensures we are using the smartest technical solutions.
Lead the operation, maintenance, and further development of the FlexBeam app.
Develop the architecture for communication between the app, sensors, and hardware via BLE.
Improve API integrations and backend logic that supports the app’s functionality.
Help develop AI-driven solutions both internally and within the app.
Participate in designing system structures for new digital solutions and our ERP system.
Ensure high code quality through testing, structured development, and documentation.
Work with external developers and technical partners when needed.
You don't need to be a master of all of this yet, but you need a solid technical foundation, a strong desire to learn with us, and the ability to bring in the right external expertise when necessary.
You are a creative person with a startup mentality who considers yourself a technical generalist. You can think holistically about systems, data flow, and how technology creates better products.
You are self-driven and comfortable taking responsibility.
You have experience with mobile development, API integrations, and backend logic.
You have an interest in (or experience with) AI, data, and automation.
You genuinely enjoy learning new things.
You have ambitions to grow into a leadership role.
You communicate clearly and professionally in both Norwegian and English.
You collaborate well across different teams.
You likely have a few years of software development experience, ideally from mobile or product development within smaller teams.
This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company with a global reach. You will get to:
Work on an innovative product that makes a real difference in people's lives.
Join a dynamic, international team of highly skilled colleagues.
Take on a challenging role with significant opportunities for professional and personal growth.
Enjoy flexible working hours, good benefits, and the opportunity for employee ownership (shares) in the company.
Work in an inclusive and supportive environment in the center of Oslo.
