To deliver this range of services and products we need dedicated engineers. Now, we’re looking for a new colleague.

We are looking for an experienced Integration Engineer/Data Engineer who enjoys a varied workday and who wants to build systems that matter.   How?  You might dig into data pipelines in the morning, pairing with developers on cloud-native services after lunch, collaborating with product teams on data contracts in the afternoon.  You will be part of a cross-functional team where designers, agritech experts, and engineers work together to solve real-world problems for Norwegian farmers.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Building data transformations and pipelines that serve both applications and analytics

  • Integrating data from diverse sources, including IoT devices, cloud platforms, and partner systems

  • Ensuring high data quality through automated testing and monitoring

  • Contribute to scalable integration patterns and reusable components

  • Writing and deploying SQL and dbt code as part of our data platform

  • Collaborating closely with R&D, product managers, and application developers to support their data needs

  • Managing and documenting data contracts in cooperation with domain experts

We are looking for someone who has

  • A relevant degree (bachelor’s or higher) in computer science, engineering, or related field

  • 4–5 years of experience as a developer, as a backend, integration, or data engineer

  • Experience building microservices and working with APIs

  • Hands-on experience with data pipelines

  • Hands on experience with SQL and relational databases

  • Has worked with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)

  • An engineering mindset - you understand how all the pieces fit together

  • Experience developing in Go (Kotlin, C# or Java are also relevant)

  • Experience with Snowflake is a bonus

  • Fluency in English

  • Proficiency in Norwegian is considered an advantage

You are responsible and curious in your work and live out MIMIRO’s values. We appreciate clear communicators who can explain solutions to both technical and non-technical people. You work independently, take initiative, and understand the importance of being structured and organized. And you take ownership.
