FlavorScale is seeking a Partnership Program Manager Intern to lead our boots-on-the-ground expansion in Amsterdam and surrounding areas. We are on a mission to secure 1,000+ partnerships by the end of the summer, specifically targeting the trendiest eateries, hidden-gem cafes, and must-visit restaurants across the city.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you will work directly with the CEO to bridge the gap between our digital platform and the physical streets of Amsterdam.
The Social Butterfly: You are a natural connector. You don't just "network"—you build genuine relationships. You’re the person who knows the owner of the local coffee spot and the waiter at the new pop-up.
Food Culture Obsessive: You live for the Amsterdam food scene. You’re the first to know when a new bakery opens in Noord or a wine bar trends in West.
Content Intuition: You have an eye for what looks good on a screen. You can spot a "trending vibe" from a mile away and know exactly which places will drive Gen Z user engagement.
High Agency: You don't wait for a task list. You see a busy terrace and think, "They should be on FlavorScale," and you make it happen.
Background: Ideally studying Hospitality Management, Business (Development), Marketing, or Communications.
Direct Field Onboarding: Spend your days in the city with the CEO, visiting potential partners, pitching the FlavorScale vision, and physically onboarding them onto the platform.
Trend Scanning: Use social media (TikTok/Instagram) and your local network to identify the "Top 100" priority spots that FlavorScale must have to win the Amsterdam market.
The Influencer Bridge: Identify local food creators and influencers, reach out to them, and facilitate their early adoption of the app to create a community ripple effect.
Account Management: Act as the first point of contact for our partners, ensuring they understand how we capture the "Full-Flow" data they’ve been missing.
Strategic Input: Participate in weekly syncs to report on merchant pain points, helping us refine our B2B value proposition before the 2026 Q3 funding round.
This is an unpaid internship that offers a "Masterclass" in startup scaling and business development. While we cannot promise specific timelines or positions—as our key hires depend on 2026/2027 investment cycles and board decisions—this role is designed to be a talent pipeline. Successful interns who prove their value on the streets of Amsterdam will be top-of-mind for strategic roles as the company levels up.
Local Residency: You must live in or very close to Amsterdam.
Language: Fluent in English (essential for speaking with local business owners). Dutch or another European language is a Plus.
Communication: Exceptional verbal skills. You need to be as comfortable talking to a Michelin-star chef as you are to a Gen Z TikToker.
Resilience: Sales and partnerships require a "thick skin." You view a "No" as just a "Not yet."
