FlavorScale is looking for a UX Research & Design Intern to help us build the most intuitive and addictive food discovery interface for Gen Z. Our product is currently built in Figma and live on Flutter, but as we move from MVP to a personalized, AI-driven platform, we need someone to ensure every swipe, map interaction, and recommendation feels seamless.
You won’t just be making things look "pretty"—ies you’ll be deep-diving into user behavior to understand how Gen Z actually decides where to eat.
Your Role in the Product
• User Research: Conduct interviews and usability tests with our community to identify friction points in the current app.
• Prototyping: Own our Figma workspace. Design high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes for new AI-driven discovery features.
• Iterative Design: Work closely with the Flutter developers to ensure your designs are technically feasible and perfectly implemented.
• Visual Identity: Help evolve the FlavorScale brand across the app, ensuring it resonates with urban foodies in cities like Copenhagen, Amsterdam, and Berlin.
Who You Are
• Background: Studying UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or Creative Media.
• Tools: Expert-level at Figma. Familiarity with Miro for journey mapping is a plus.
• The "Why" Mindset: You don't just design a button; you want to know if users actually want to click it.
• Portfolio: You have a portfolio showing your process—from messy sketches and research data to polished UI.
