FlavorScale is looking for a Growth & Marketing Intern who lives at the intersection of data and creativity. We’ve proven the concept with a successful pilot in Copenhagen; now, we’re gearing up for a major expansion across Northwestern Europe. We need someone who understands how to make a brand "sticky" for a Gen Z audience that values authenticity over trends.
FlavorScale is where Gen Z decides where to eat, what to try, and which spots actually match their taste. We are building the future of food discovery—personalized, AI-driven, and community-fueled.
Your Role in Growth & Marketing
You won’t just be "posting on socials." You will be architecting how we grow our user base and keep them coming back.
• Growth Experiments: Design and test "viral loops" and referral programs to lower our cost of acquisition (CAC).
• Content Strategy: Own the brand voice across TikTok, Instagram, and Discord—creating content that feels like a recommendation from a friend, not an ad.
• Community Engagement: Build and manage our "Foodie Inner Circle," gathering feedback from early adopters and turning them into brand ambassadors.
• Performance Tracking: Use analytics to see which campaigns actually drive app downloads and high-quality engagement.
• Pilot Support: Help execute "boots-on-the-ground" marketing for our next major European city launch.
Who You Are
• Background: Currently studying Marketing, Communications, Digital Business, or a related creative field.
• Gen Z Native: You know what’s trending before it’s a trend. You understand the nuances of food culture and digital communities.
• Creative Execution: Proficient in Canva (and ideally basic video editing for Reels/TikTok). You can turn a Figma prototype idea into a high-performing social asset.
• Data-Curious: You don't just create; you measure. You want to know why a post performed well and how to replicate it.
• Vibe: You are outgoing, proactive, and love exploring the food scene in major cities.
Location & Commitment
• Flexible Remote: Based anywhere in Northwestern Europe (Netherlands, Germany, Scandinavia, France, etc.), provided your university allows for a Netherlands-based internship.
• Language: Fluent in English. An additional language (Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Spanish, German, or French) is a major plus.
• Timeline: Joining for 2026 Q2.
If you’re ready to help build the loudest food community in Europe, we want to hear from you. Send your portfolio/social handles and your current favorite food city.
