We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to take ownership of the end-to-end technical architecture of our agritech platform. 

This is a key role at the core of our engineering organization. You will define architectural direction, drive technical consistency across teams, and ensure our platform scales securely and sustainably as we grow. 

You will work closely with the CTPO, Tech Leads, and cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, and Commercial. 

Your responsibilities will include

Responsibility for the overall system architecture. Ensuring scalability, performance, maintainability, and security across services and integrations. 

• Own the end-to-end architecture of a distributed SaaS platform 

• Define and evolve architectural principles, standards, and integration patterns 

• Translate business and product requirements into scalable technical designs 

• Lead architectural reviews and validate solution designs across teams 

• Guide engineering teams on system design, trade-offs, and long-term implications 

• Ensure consistency across APIs, data models, services, and infrastructure 

• Contribute to architectural roadmap planning and technical strategy 

• Act as a technical advisor in customer and partner discussions 

• Support pre-sales activities with architectural insight and documentation 

• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies in cloud, data, and IoT domains 

You will have decision-making authority within the agreed architectural scope, escalating decisions that significantly impact time, cost, or scope. 

We operate in a modern cloud-native environment and are continuously evolving our architecture. You should be comfortable working with: 

• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) 

• Distributed systems and service-based architectures 

• API-first design and integration-heavy ecosystems 

• Data-driven architectures and event-based patterns 

• DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code 

• Scalability, high availability, and SLA-driven environments 

• Security best practices in multi-tenant SaaS systems 

Experience in IoT, data platforms, or agriculture technology is a plus, but not required. 

We are looking for someone who has 

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering and/or architecture roles 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 

• Proven experience designing complex distributed systems in SaaS or product environments 

• Strong expertise in cloud-native architecture 

• Experience with system integrations and external partner ecosystems 

• A deep understanding of architectural trade-offs (cost vs. scalability vs. time-to-market) 

• Experience contributing to commercial discussions or technical pre-sales
