👀 Product CPA at Shine

We recently integrated a new product line into the Shine ecosystem, representing an exciting opportunity to modernize long‐standing workflows and elevate product practices in a complex domain.

We’re looking for an SVP Product with strong technical fluency and proven experience driving product strategy in environments that combine mature systems, evolving architecture, and deeply specific business logic.

You'll collaborate closely with engineering on technical decisions, including API design, data flows, architecture trade‐offs, integration patterns, and long‐term system evolution. You’ll also support product teams as they transition from traditional product ownership toward modern, empowered product management.

Because much of this work is closely tied to the French market and its specific accounting and compliance use cases, fluency in French is essential.

This role also involves regular interaction with key customers, both to understand their workflows and needs, and to ensure that strategic decisions remain closely aligned with real‑world usage.

  • Own the multi‐year product strategy: Define and drive the long‐term vision, priorities and roadmap for this domain.

  • Lead modernization of mature systems: Guide the evolution of complex, long‐standing systems with strong architectural awareness.

  • Align product direction across workflows: Ensure coherence and consistency across multiple interconnected product areas.

  • Partner deeply with engineering and work closely on:  • Architecture and scalability  • Modern API design  • Event‐driven and data‐integration patterns  • Technical trade‐offs and system evolution

  • Elevate product practices: Support teams as they adopt modern product methods and decision‐making frameworks.

  • Lead and develop product leaders: Manage 3 direct reports, each with their own product teams.

  • Simplify functional and regulatory complexity: Bring structure and clarity to intricate domain and compliance workflows.

  • Shape a unified user experience: Ensure a coherent, seamless experience across the integrated product line.

  • Collaborate on long‐term transformation planning: Work with senior leadership to plan and execute a multi‐year evolution.

  • Engage directly with strategic customers: Meet regularly with key clients to understand needs, validate product direction, and ground decisions in real customer workflows.

🔎 About you

  • Experience navigating complexity in mature or legacy systems

  • Full French fluency (written and spoken)

  • Proven ability to elevate product culture and mentor product leaders

  • Experience simplifying complex operational or accounting workflows

  • Strong stakeholder management across diverse teams

Bonus points:
