Ode is building the world’s simplest solution for therapeutic music. We combine a smart speaker with a single-knob interface and AI-driven curation to reduce anxiety, agitation, and depression in people living with dementia.

We are now looking for a Founding Engineer to help build and scale the technology behind the product. This is a broad early-stage role in a small, ambitious team, with real influence on the product, the platform, and how we work. The core focus is backend development, device communication, and platform engineering: designing APIs, integrations, and services that support a stable and scalable product. Because this is a founding engineering role, the scope is intentionally broad and will evolve with your strengths and what the company needs as we grow.

We are looking for someone with a strong technical foundation through work experience, studies, or personal projects. You care about quality, work at pace, and take ownership of making solutions reliable in practice. It is a plus if you can also contribute across fullstack, device, or embedded-related work.
