We are hiring an Event Coordinator reporting into Senior Event Manager for the BLAST x Valve global ecosystem, an exciting role to assist and support the planning and delivery of the arena show elements of multiple high profile tournaments. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic event professional to work in a global setting on some very exciting esports events.
Support Event team members with pre-event planning and coordination for large-scale arena events worldwide
Assist the Event Manager on-site with operational delivery, including accreditation management, catering coordination, and ground transportation logistics
Research, secure, and manage hotel accommodations for crew, talent, and teams - including room block negotiations, rooming list management, check-in/check-out scheduling, special requests, and last-minute amendments
Oversee on-site catering operations for crew and teams, including vendor liaison, menu planning, dietary requirement management, scheduling, and on-the-day setup
Raise and manage purchase orders (POs) and process invoices for the Events Department, ensuring accurate budget tracking and financial compliance
Provide flexible, ad hoc support across the Events team as required to ensure seamless event delivery
Experience delivering live events (esports experience highly desirable).
Demonstrated expertise in budget management and cost control. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in fast-paced environments.
Coordinate and oversee travel and transportation logistics for players and crew.
Solutions-focused mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities. Build and maintain effective cross-functional relationships, including collaboration with teams based in the Copenhagen office.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to quickly develop in-depth knowledge of the esports industry, brand, and product portfolio.
Willingness and ability to work from the London office.
Flexibility to travel internationally and support global events
Experience in ticketing allocation
Experience in Hospitality set-up and guest registration
Experience in post event reports measuring stakeholder satisfaction
