At Monil, we are redefining the future of livestock management, enabling farmers to move fences and control pasture land virtually. As we enter our most ambitious growth phase yet, our Operations team plays a critical role in ensuring that our hardware products are built, tested, and delivered with world-class quality.
We are now looking for a hands-on and improvement-driven Manufacturing Engineer to help keep our production running smoothly and continuously evolving. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in production environments to step into a role with broad responsibility, close collaboration across teams, and a steep learning curve.
In this role, you will be a key contributor in both mechanical and electronic assembly processes, supporting testing of new products, driving improvements, and managing changes that ensure a stable and scalable production setup. Drive production improvement projects together with the Operations team
Support practical testing of new products and customer-returned units
Manage change control and ECO handling (implementing product and process changes into production)
Develop, update, and maintain product and production documentation
Contribute to both electronic and mechanical assembly processes
Shape your own responsibilities based on your experience, skills, and interests
You are positive, curious, structured, and quality-driven, with a passion for finding smarter and better ways to solve production challenges. You enjoy in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same and enjoy collaborating with colleagues across disciplines.
Technical education and 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience in a production or manufacturing environment
Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English (written and spoken)
Comfortable working at high pace toward concrete goals
Friendly, solution-oriented, and strong collaboration skills
Willingness to travel within Norway and internationally (including the US, China, etc.)
Experience with PLM/ERP systems
In this role, it will be an advantage if you bring experience with CAD tools, have worked with quality processes or Quality Assurance systems, and are familiar with industrialization—particularly transitioning production from low-volume to high-volume. These skills will help you contribute even more effectively as we continue to scale.
