The Manager, Investor Relations plays a key role in developing IQM’s global IR function and serves as a primary point of contact for the global investment community, with dedicated responsibility for Finland, Nordic and the EU regions. The role directly supports the company’s investor relations strategy and capital markets journey during a critical growth phase.

Working closely with the IR Director and senior leadership, the IR Manager helps design and strengthen IR processes, infrastructure, and core materials while supporting capital markets readiness and external positioning.

What will I be doing?

Strategic & Executive Support

  • Shape IQM’s investor relations and capital markets journey, establishing core IR processes, infrastructure, and materials.

  • Initially support the VP, Strategy & CEO in investor roadshows, reporting, and IR readiness; eventually report to an IR Director/Head of IR.

  • Handle sensitive market information with discretion, providing strategic insights to executives and the IR team.

Technical & Analytical

  • Develop periodic investor reporting (monthly reports, quarterly shareholder requests) and synthesize market data into actionable insights.

  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Compliance to ensure accurate filings, reporting, disclosures, and corporate governance.

  • Support the transition to public company-ready IR practices.

Administrative & Operational

  • Manage IR communications, mailbox, and scheduling for executives, investors, and analysts.

  • Organize and facilitate investor events (board meetings, site visits, roadshows, capital market days, earnings presentations).

  • Support preparation of briefing packs, Q&A materials, scripts, and other investor communications.

  • Maintain investor tools, calendars, and data quality; provide mentorship to junior IR colleagues.

 Commercial & Communications

  • Create internal and external IR materials and presentations.

  • Collaborate with Communications & Marketing on content for newsletters, social media, videos, press releases, and investor webpages.

  • Support targeted investor engagement, acting as a liaison for IR advisers, PR agencies, investment banks, and equity research analysts.

  • Contribute to research, thematic content, and thought leadership that strengthens IQM’s equity story.

What skills and experience do I need?

  • 5+ years in Investor Relations, public company communications, sell-side research, or investment banking.

  • Strong knowledge of public company IR principles (Reg FD, SEC disclosures, Finnish & US regulations), corporate finance, accounting, and financial modelling.

  • Fluent in Finnish and English; outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Proven discretion in handling sensitive information and building trusted stakeholder relationships.

  • Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented; capable of managing multiple priorities.

  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, and other presentation tools.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Law, Communications, Physics, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Willingness to travel globally as required.

  • Interest in emerging technologies such as Quantum Computing and AI.
