About the Role & Team

We are looking for a Tech Team Lead to join our Data Management team. This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will own the heaviest and most data-focused parts of the system including custom fields, data reports, workflows & approvals, questionnaires and statistics.

As a Tech Lead, you will mentor others and solve complex system architecture problems. You will enable Product Managers and Designers through processes, collaborating with colleagues in both Aarhus and Copenhagen. This role starts at 79,000 DKK per month and can grow up to 89,000 DKK as you develop. You’ll be part of our structured career framework, which includes regular development talks. What you will do

• Lead technical excellence within the team, setting the standard for robust data architecture and fostering a culture of ownership, scalability, and deep technical curiosity.

• Build scalable and maintainable software grounded in domain-driven design principles.

• Help shape and drive the team's technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.

• Influence architectural decisions across systems and teams, collaborating closely across Product and Engineering.

• Own the technical lifecycle of our core data systems, from architecting flexible custom fields and workflows to ensuring the long-term performance and accuracy of reports and statistics.

• Mentor and develop engineers, with a focus on sharing knowledge about complex data structures, scalable system architecture, and the "puzzle" of managing high-density information.

What you bring

• Experience leading and developing engineers, fostering growth and technical excellence

• Strong fundamentals in system design and architecture, specifically regarding database schema design, data modeling, and handling complex business logic.

• Deep knowledge of modern software principles, including object-oriented programming, common design patterns, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

• Solid experience with at least one server-side language. We work with PHP, but what matters most is your ability to build great software and learn our stack.

• Experience with a modern frontend framework and complex state management. We use Angular, but great frontend fundamentals matter more than framework labels.

• A disciplined approach to testing, with experience implementing patterns to ensure system reliability.
