Arctic Coliving is seeking a Community Resident to live, work, and play at our Voss Mountain Lodge this summer. This is a seasonal, part-time residency (June–August, with potential extension to May–September) designed for someone who thrives in community, loves the mountains, and enjoys sharing stories online.
You’ll be the welcoming face of the lodge, helping guests feel at home from the moment they arrive. Your week will include greeting and orienting new guests, answering basic questions, and nurturing a warm, international atmosphere in the common areas. You’ll dedicate ~10 hours per week to light community hosting and basic social media posting (photos, short videos, or stories), with the rest of your time free to explore Voss’ world-class hiking, climbing, skiing, and paragliding.
You may also occasionally organize simple group activities—like shared dinners, hikes, or sauna sessions—that help residents connect, while keeping the overall vibe relaxed and low-key.
You’ll live rent-free at the Voss Mountain Lodge for the duration of the residency and have access to our core amenities: coworking spaces with fast WiFi, sauna, outdoor heated swimming pool, real pizza oven, and house-roasted coffee.
Beyond the residency itself, there are opportunities for additional paid or commission-based work in:
Content creation (photo, video, blog-style storytelling)
Social media and community updates
Supporting guest experience and specific community initiatives
This is a chance to gain hands-on experience in coliving, hospitality, and community management while actually living inside the product.
We’re looking for someone who:
Actively fosters inclusive, welcoming environments for people from many countries and backgrounds
Has a genuine passion for mountain environments and outdoor life (e.g. hiking, climbing, skiing, paragliding)
Is comfortable creating simple but engaging content for social media (photos, videos, blogs)
Is responsible, proactive, and able to manage their own time with minimal supervision
Communicates clearly and confidently in English (Norwegian is a plus, but not required)
Experience in community building, events, or hospitality is a bonus, but above all we care that you are reliable, social, and excited to contribute to a shared living and working environment.
This is more than a typical internship or part-time job. It’s a lifestyle residency at the heart of a growing coliving community in the Norwegian mountains—ideal for digital nomads, students on a break, or early-career professionals who want real community and hospitality experience while living in one of Norway’s most beautiful adventure destinations.
