As a student worker at World Translation, you can expect variation in your assignments from day to day, each one filled with exciting and challenging tasks. Your primary responsibility will be to help our project managers with the following tasks:
assessing the linguistic and formal quality of translations
improving translation quality using AI-agents
assigning quality assurance tasks to translators
checking the layout of translations
maintaining translation and terminology databases
other miscellaneous jobs
We imagine that you are currently working toward a university degree, ideally in linguistics or in a foreign language or alternatively in the IT-field.
It is a prerequisite that you have a solid general understanding of how languages work, and that you have a basic knowledge and interest in AI.
Furthermore, we hope that you:
speak multiple languages
are a team player with a positive attitude
have a flair for IT and can quickly learn new programs.

are self-driven
work in a structured way and can quickly learn new tasks.
The job is a part-time position with approximately 10-15 hours per week at an hourly wage. The working hours are generally between 8.00 and 16.30, but there will also be opportunities to work in the evenings or on weekends.
