Student worker position

As a student worker at World Translation, you can expect variation in your assignments from day to day, each one filled with exciting and challenging tasks. Your primary responsibility will be to help our project managers with the following tasks:

• assessing the linguistic and formal quality of translations

• improving translation quality using AI-agents

• assigning quality assurance tasks to translators

• checking the layout of translations

• maintaining translation and terminology databases

• other miscellaneous jobs

Who are you?

We imagine that you are currently working toward a university degree, ideally in linguistics or in a foreign language or alternatively in the IT-field.

It is a prerequisite that you have a solid general understanding of how languages work, and that you have a basic knowledge and interest in AI.

Furthermore, we hope that you:

• speak multiple languages

• are a team player with a positive attitude

• have a flair for IT and can quickly learn new programs.

• like to explore the opportunities that AI offers

• are self-driven

• work in a structured way and can quickly learn new tasks.

Working hours

The job is a part-time position with approximately 10-15 hours per week at an hourly wage. The working hours are generally between 8.00 and 16.30, but there will also be opportunities to work in the evenings or on weekends.
