As a Solution Engineer at Hoxhunt, you sit at the intersection of technology, security, and human behavior, helping customers successfully deploy, integrate, and scale our platform in a way that delivers real-world risk reduction.

Your Role

The Solution Engineer bridges the gap between technical implementation and customer success. You’ll support both pre-sales and post-sales phases, guiding customers through complex onboarding, integrations, and advanced use cases.

You work closely with sales, customer success, onboarding teams, and customer security leaders; translating Hoxhunt’s technical capabilities into solutions that fit customers infrastructure, security policies, and business goals.

You will predominantly be working with our SMB and Mid-Market customers (1 - 10k employee count range).

What You’ll Do

• Technical integration & implementation: Lead complex integrations, design API-based workflows, and guide customers through advanced architecture and data flows.

• Customer onboarding & technical enablement: Own the technical onboarding experience, delivering implementation plans aligned with customer infrastructure, security, and compliance requirements.

• Security & identity expertise: Advise customers on IAM solutions and support integrations with SIEM and SOAR platforms for security automation and log aggregation.

• New business, upsell & POCs: Support technical evaluations, proofs of concept, and expansion opportunities with hands-on expertise.

• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Sales and Customer Success on discovery calls, demos, and solution scoping to ensure technical fit and customer confidence.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in technical integrations within complex environments

• Hands-on understanding of APIs, automation workflows, and data flows (GraphQL is a plus)

• Solid knowledge of identity and access management solutions (e.g. Entra ID, Okta, SailPoint)

• Some experience working with SIEM and SOAR platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, or XSOAR

• Experience in customer-facing work and thrive in pre-sales and post-sales customer engagements

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and executive audiences

• A collaborative mindset and genuine curiosity for solving customer problems

Bonus Points If You Also:

• Have worked in cybersecurity, SaaS, or security awareness domains

• Have experience advising SOC teams on threat remediation and security workflows

• Love documenting, simplifying, and improving technical processes

Location and Salary Range

You’ll work with our HQ in Helsinki as your home base. While we offer a flexible remote work policy, we hope you are willing to visit the office weekly. The approximate salary range for the position is €4500–€5500 / month, depending on your skills and experience. There is also a performance bonus model.
