At IQM, quantum becomes real through the work of people who build it piece by piece. As an Assembly Technician, you play a hands-on role in turning advanced electronics into working quantum computer systems. You are part of the Production and Testing Team, working closely with engineers and specialists to assemble hardware used in both customer deliveries and internal projects. Your work supports reliability, safety, and quality, while also helping us continuously improve how we build and document our products.

What will I be doing?

  • Assembling and preparing quantum computer hardware, such as room temperature electronics, cryogenic components, and quantum integration hardware, for internal and external customers

  • Supporting installation preparations and shipment readiness of electrical components

  • Ensuring quality assurance, safety, and accuracy in daily assembly work

  • Creating, maintaining, and improving assembly related documentation

  • Providing practical feedback to help develop products, processes, and instructions

  • Collaborating with internal technical teams to support smooth production workflows

What skills do I need?

  • A degree in electronics, engineering, or a related field

  • At least three years of work experience in electronics assembly or a comparable technical environment

  • A systematic and careful approach to hands on technical work

  • Confidence using IT tools for documentation and reporting

  • Awareness of health, safety, and quality practices in electronics or production environments

  • Capability of adapting to new products, updates, and improvements in assembly workflows

  • Comfortable using English in daily work, including technical discussions and documentation

  • Willingness to travel and work abroad when required
