About The Role

Build the team. Lead the function. Set the standard.

We’re looking for a Head of Talent Acquisition & HR to own, grow, and lead our people function at a fast-moving, mission-driven tech startup. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in autonomy, moves fast, and takes pride in attracting exceptional talent.

You won’t just manage recruiting—you’ll lead it from the front, personally driving full-cycle hiring while simultaneously reinforcing the established systems, standards, and operating rhythm that allows the company to scale with intention. You’ll be the architect of our talent strategy and the steward of a high-performance, values-aligned culture.

This role is ONLY for self-directed operators and confident inspired leaders who see HR as a strategic lever and a people-nurturing responsibility, not an administrative function.

What You’ll Own

  • Run the Talent Acquisition & HR function end-to-end, with full accountability for outcomes.

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting personally: sourcing, screening, interviewing, closing, and onboarding top-tier talent.

  • Design and execute hiring strategies aligned with business priorities and growth goals.

  • Serve as HR Business Partner to the CEO, anticipating talent needs and shaping organisational design as well as consulting with CEO on all HR matters.

  • Nurture our existing HR systems, processes, and policies that support scale, performance, and compliance and ensure continuity .

  • Act as a trusted point of contact for employees across the company—clear, direct, empathic and solutions-oriented.

  • Ensure HR operations run smoothly, efficiently, and with integrity.

  • Train new recruiters according to existing human centric guidelines


Who You Are

  • A proven talent and HR leader with at least 1 year of people leadership experience and at least 1 year of hands-on, full-cycle recruitment experience in Europe/US/UK markets.

  • Highly independent, proactive, and comfortable operating with real ownership and minimal oversight.

  • Leads from the front—energized by building teams, personally recruiting great talent, and holding a high standard for hiring quality.

  • Organized, decisive, and exceptional at prioritizing what matters most in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

  • A clear, confident communicator who builds trust, alignment, and accountability across all levels of the organization.

  • Strong working knowledge of HR best practices, employment fundamentals, and people operations—applied with sound judgment.

  • A confident, empathetic leader who balances high expectations with genuine care for people, creating teams that perform and stay engaged.

  • Mission-driven and execution-focused, committed to building teams that deliver results and believe in the work

  • Canditates based in Europe to ensure alignment with our weekly team meetings and real-time collaboration

  • Confidence and enthusiasm to represent the company at in-person career fairs and networking events in Copenhagen, requiring highly polished interpersonal skills and professional rapport building prowess


*Must be available for weekly team meetings on Mondays at 11am and 12pm
