Data Scientist

We’re looking for an experienced Data Scientist / ML Engineer to join our growing data team. You’ll be part of a high-energy product and engineering team where ownership is real.

At Inven, AI isn’t an add-on—it’s the foundation of how we deliver value to our users. As a Data Scientist / ML Engineer here, you’ll get the chance to work on complex, data-heavy features and define what a great AI-first product looks like.

What are we looking for?

• An exceptionally driven, startup-minded individual. We consider ourselves high-performers, you should be one too!

• Strong math skills, especially linear algebra and statistics, are essential - Without foundational skills we would be constrained to copying ready-made solutions.

• Hunger for innovation is required - Our product lives or dies based on whether it is the best product out there, so we don’t have the luxury of simply copying what has worked in the past.

• Knowledge of how to make ML pipelines and products scale is crucial - We work with web-scale data, meaning data volumes are huge and all conceivable edge cases are encountered.

• Some broad categories of problems we frequently address are e.g. entity resolution, extracting formatted information from unformatted sources as well as document retrieval, ranking and clustering. Past experience with similar problems is a plus, foundational knowledge of NLP and LLMs is a must.

• Some tools we use are e.g. Python, NumPy, PyTorch, Hugging Face, Flyte, PySpark. You should have experience with these or similar tools.

• Fluency in English
