Voice & Communications Intern (Deep Tech / EV Charging)

Salary Unpaid

Lumina is a Danish tech company working with AI and machine learning in the EV charging space. We build software used by charging operators to understand what is actually happening in their networks and to act on it. Right now, the company is gaining real traction and is at the forefront of this vertical.

We process tens of millions of data logs every day, giving us extensive insights into the market. We can see- and know a lot of cool things. Much more than we currently communicate.

We are looking for an intern to help turn this knowledge into a clear and consistent voice in the EV charging community.

This is not a classic marketing internship. We are not running paid campaigns or big lead funnels. What we care about is the conversation, creating community, shaping narratives and helping us articulate what we see in the data.

You will work closely with the founders and the rest of the team. Your role will be to help extract insight from ongoing work and turn it into clear, thoughtful communication. That can be short written pieces, LinkedIn posts, commentary, or outreach to relevant media and industry platforms. You will also help orchestrate and run a community that we are currently building.

What you’ll work on

You will help define and develop Lumina’s voice as a deep-tech company. A big part of the work is turning the insights we already have into something that is useful and understandable, both for our operators, for the wider EV charging ecosystem and the stakeholders surrounding the industry. We process large amounts of data and see patterns across the full charging journey, but we rarely stop to articulate what that means. This role helps change that.

You will work with narratives around AI-driven operations, data and machine learning, and help turn internal discussions, observations, and points of view into clear content. You will also support PR with relevant media, newsletters, podcasts, and industry platforms, and help Lumina show up consistently and thoughtfully in the EV charging community by following ongoing conversations and identifying where we actually have something to contribute.

Who you might be

You are studying communication, marketing, media, business or something related. You are comfortable writing and thinking at the same time, and you do not need everything to be finished or polished before you start working with it. You are curious about technology, not as a buzzword, but as something that shapes how real industries actually work. You are motivated by freedom, learning and building something early.

We are looking for someone who is curious about technology and interested using data as a voice. You do not need prior experience with EV charging or AI.

This is an unpaid internship, at our office in Frederiksberg, for 3-6 months. If it turns out to be a good match, we’d like the possibility of continuing afterwards. Experience matters less than drive.

What you get

  • A real role in shaping the voice of a tech company

  • Direct collaboration with founders and decision-makers

  • Experience with narrative-building, PR and data-driven communication

  • An internship that is easy to explain and stands out on a CV

If this sounds interesting, send a short application and a few words about why you want to help build the first data-driven voice of its kind.

Working at
Lumina

We've built Charger Health, an AI-powered Operations & Maintenance platform for EV charging networks. Our software automatically identifies issues and initiates resolution flows in real-time. This is done through combination of pattern recognition, machine learning models and an agentic infrastructure. In addition, our solution automatically creates, updates and closes tickets, optimizing the throughput of operations teams. Lastly, intelligent alerts reveal hidden issues and enables proactive remote handling. This has reduced the operational resources required to manage the network, enabling operations teams to more than double their output, while also improving key performance metrics such as uptime and charging success rate.
