Physical Design Engineer
Neucom is a fast-moving, and dynamic startup scaling its engineering team. We are looking for a proactive and organised Physical Design Engineer to serve as the technical leader of physical design efforts. You should be able to influence and support early architectural decisions with physical design insight. You are a strong communicator with an ability to lead, present, and distill information.
As a part of a small dynamic team and early stage start up, you will in addition to your main task support across the start up with tasks such as technical presentations, prototype demonstrations and dissertations when needed. The physical design engineer role is crucial for the successful delivery of first silicon on advanced nodes.
Own full-chip physical design for mature node MPWs (28/22nm) and advanced nodes.
Drive floorplanning, timing, power and signoff closure.
Lead integration of mixed-signal IPs, providing power integrity and noise robustness.
Collaborate closely with architecture, RTL, and foundry.
Define physical design flows and methodologies.
Present prototype at events.
Support sales with technical knowledge.
5+ years of hands on physical design experience
1 or more successful tape-outs
STA (MCMM, SI, AOCV/POCV)
Synopsys: ICC2, PrimeTime, Fusion Compiler, StarRC
Familiarity with foundry PDKs and sign-off flows at advanced nodes
