As a Master Data Specialist, you’ll be a key part of the team responsible for maintaining and developing our master data — the very core of our business. You will:
Participate in and lead projects to build new segments, industry classifications, and new markets/geographies
Ensure, verify and update existing master data across our retail datasets
Perform quality checks and ongoing data cleansing based on defined processes
Work with data flows from both manual sources and API integrations
Collaborate closely with the team to optimise structure, processes and customer-specific deliveries
Proactively suggest — and lead initiatives for — improving data quality and efficiency
We care more about mindset, ability and potential than a perfect background. It’s a plus if you have:
At least 2+ years of experience working with master data, datasets, analytics or data quality
Strong Excel skills — and ideally experience with databases, SQL or APIs (not required, but a big plus)
Knowledge in (or curiosity about) AI tools and machine learning
Experience from retail, analytics, or other data-heavy environments
Fluent Swedish and good English, both spoken and written (required)
Loves diving into details and finding what doesn’t add up
Is great at spotting patterns, inconsistencies and anomalies in data
Enjoys working closely with others towards shared goals — but is also comfortable taking ownership and driving work independently
Often thinks “this could be done smarter” when you encounter a manual process
Has a strong interest in new technology and enjoys exploring better ways of working with data — especially using AI/ML
