We’re looking for a hands-on, structured, and business-oriented Finance Manager to take ownership of our finance function. You’ll play a central role in ensuring financial clarity, supporting leadership decisions, and building scalable financial processes that match our ambitions.

You will 💡

As Finance Manager at Candeno, you’ll work closely with the entire management team and play a central role in supporting strategic and operational decision-making across the organisation. Reporting directly to our COO, Jonas Hvid, you’ll combine hands-on financial operations with strategic insight and act as a trusted financial partner to management.

You’ll take ownership of Candeno’s finance function and ensure transparency, structure, and financial confidence as we scale across the Nordics. You will also:

Reporting, budgeting & forecasting

• Prepare monthly reports for management and investors, and support the daily operations with financial insights for management and the board

• Ensure scalable budgeting and forecasting processes, including close cash flow management.

• Monitor financial performance & key SaaS metrics, identify risks and opportunities, and follow up on KPIs.

• Support long-term financial planning aligned with Candeno’s growth strategy.

• Oversee bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, payroll coordination, and monthly closings, including collaboration with external accountants and auditors.

• Ensure high data quality, accuracy, and compliance in all financial processes.

Business partnering & decision Support

• Act as a trusted financial sparring partner for the entire management team.

• Translate financial data into clear insights that support strategic and operational decisions.

• Support pricing models, business cases, and investment decisions.

Process optimisation & compliance

• Develop and improve scalable finance processes and internal controls.

• Ensure compliance globally with relevant financial, tax, and regulatory requirements.

• Support expansion into new markets from a financial and compliance perspective.

You are 💙

We’re looking for someone who thrives on ownership, structure, and good collaboration skills. You’re comfortable working independently, explaining complex financial matters clearly and concisely, and building financial foundations that support Candeno's growth and strategic direction. We’re also looking for someone with:

• A degree in Cand.Merc.Aud or similar finance degrees

• 3+ years of experience in a finance role, ideally within SaaS, tech, or a scale-up environment.

• Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial compliance.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills.

• The ability to work onsite at our Aarhus office.

• Get familiar with Candeno’s business model, financial setup, and tools.

• Take ownership of ongoing financial operations and reporting.

• Build strong relationships with the COO, management team, and key stakeholders.

Within three months:

• Fully own budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting cycles.

• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting.

• Act as a proactive financial sparring partner to the management team.

Within six months:

• Drive financial insights that influence strategic decisions.

• Support financially scaling initiatives and market expansion.

• Be recognised as the internal go-to person for finance at Candeno.
