Salary Competitive

Sales Intern

Location: Oslo, Norway (on-site)

Hours: Part-time, minimum 15 hours per week during business hours (Mon–Fri, 9:00–17:00)

The best start to your career? It's in Sales.

The fastest way to learn business is to sell something.

When you're on the phone with a CFO, pitching a product, handling objections, and booking that meeting — you learn more in a single call than in a semester of lectures. You learn how businesses actually work. You learn resilience. You learn how to communicate, persuade, and create value. These are skills that will serve you for the rest of your career, no matter where you end up.

Why Cardboard?

We're a fast-growing fintech startup in Oslo, helping businesses take control of their software subscriptions. We're small, ambitious, and moving fast — which means you won't be fetching coffee or sitting in the corner. You'll be in the action, talking to real decision-makers, and making a real impact from day one.

We aim to become THE preferred SaaS spend management platform for European businesses.

The role

Your mission: book meetings with CFOs, CTOs, and founders at our targeted list of companies. You'll cold call, send emails, and learn the art of opening doors. It's challenging. It's rewarding. And it's the best training ground for anyone serious about a career in business.

What you’ll do

As a Sales Intern, you’ll work closely with our Go-To-Market team to support campaigns, outreach, and lead generation efforts. This is a hands-on role that offers exposure to real-world sales and marketing strategies.

Key responsibilities:

  • Cold call and email prospects to book meetings with decision-makers

  • Build and manage lead lists using LinkedIn, Apollo, and HubSpot

  • Track your outreach and results to continuously improve

  • Collaborate with our GTM team and learn from experienced professionals

  • Contribute ideas — your voice matters here

What we’re looking for

  • Currently pursuing or recently finished a Masters degree (business, communications, or related field preferred)

  • Available to work at least 15 hours per week during standard business hours (Mon–Fri, 9:00–17:00)

  • Fluent in Norwegian and English (native or bilingual)

  • Self-starter with a hunger to learn and not afraid of rejection

  • A confident communicator who enjoys connecting with people

  • No sales experience required — just ambition and a willingness to grow

What you’ll gain

  • Real skills: Outreach, negotiation, CRM tools, and the fundamentals of B2B sales

  • Real mentorship: Learn directly from our GTM team, not from a textbook

  • Real impact: Your work directly drives our growth

  • A career launchpad: Sales experience opens doors everywhere — startups, consulting, finance, tech, you name it

  • Potential for more: Prove yourself, and there may be a future role waiting for you

This isn't just an internship. It's the start of something bigger.
