We're thrilled that you're considering a career at Kindly! Here's everything you need to know about the Account Manager position 🥳
We are looking for a strategic, customer-focused Account Manager to own and grow relationships with our existing customers. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring clients achieve measurable value from our AI automation platform while identifying opportunities for expansion, optimization, and long-term partnership. The success is driven by retention, strategic account planning, and customer outcomes.
Kindly is a growing tech company of 70+ employees, working out of Oslo, Stockholm, and Amsterdam. We create chatbot solutions for businesses, particularly in the B2C sector. We have over 150 incredible clients that include Norwegian Airlines, Voi, Booking.com, Kahoot!, TV4, and Tele2, just to name a few. Our tech reaches over one million users every month, and we handle thousands of messages every hour.
We believe that one of the key factors for success in a job is enjoying your workplace. At Kindly, we all work towards common goals, and everyone wants the best for each other. We want you to have fun at work! That's why it's important for us that when we hire new people, they share this philosophy.
At Kindly, we are fun and down-to-earth. We are an ambitious team that works hard to deliver exceptional products that we are proud of. We value curiosity and collaboration, and together, we're developing a platform that takes online user experience to the next level!
You’ll be part of our AM-team but collaborate with all areas of our business, from Customer Success to Product & Tech.
We’re building the future of customer support, and we need the right people to ensure our clients get there with us. Want to join our team?
As and Account Manager at Kindly, you'll be the strategic partner our customers rely on. You'll take ownership of a portfolio of accounts, build relationships with senior stakeholders, and make sure our customers are getting real value from our AI platform (and growing with it). You’ll:
Manage and nurture a portfolio of existing customers, acting as the primary point of contact for strategic stakeholders
Build a genuine understanding of each customer's business goals and how our AI platform fits into their processes
Create and execute strategic account plans that drive long-term value, retention, and growth
Identify and develop upsell and cross-sell opportunities in a way that's aligned with what customers actually need
Lead regular business reviews, performance check-ins, and success planning sessions with senior stakeholders
Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Product, and Technical teams to ensure smooth delivery and optimization
Collaborate with CSMs to monitor account health, usage, and renewal timelines
Feed customer insights back to Product and Tech to influence product improvements and roadmap priorities
We have core structures in place, but we're still building as we go, and you'll have the opportunity to be part of shaping how we work.
First of all, we believe you are driven by stepping into client relationships and elevate it with a consultative and solution-oriented approach. We also believe you have:
3+ years of experience in Account Management or a similar relationship-led commercial role in a SaaS environment
A track record of managing customers strategically. You've been a partner for key stakeholders, not just a point of contact
The ability to hold your own with a technically-minded buyer, and are comfortable in conversations about technology
Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, such as retention, churn, expansion, and adoption, and have the ability to connect these to day-to-day priorities
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, in a Nordic language and English
Experience managing multiple accounts, and are organised and proactive.
It’s a plus if you have experience with:
AI, chatbot platforms, automation tools, or CRM systems.
Management consulting in a technical environment.
Kindly offer a pleasant, inclusive, and creative workplace. We give our team responsibility and trust, along with the opportunity to shape their working day.
The opportunity to work with leading European companies, focused on growth and technology
Hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI and automation solutions
A high level of ownership with real impact on customer success and outcomes
A collaborative, innovative, and fast-paced SaaS environment
Career opportunities that provide professional and personal development
Recognition of hard work and direct influence on our products
Modern offices, situated in Oslo, Stockholm, and Amsterdam
Competitive salary and conditions
Kindly Collective (mental well-being and representation)
Personal Development Hours during work hours (6 hours per month)
That's it for now. Good luck with your application process.🤞
