As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a structured and motivated Bid Manager Assistant Intern to join our Commercial & Bid Team at our HQ in Aarhus. In this role, you will support the coordination and execution of high-value public and private tenders and gain hands-on experience with real commercial projects.
The internship starts in January / February and follows the university semester until summer. We are looking for students who can commit for the full semester and are eager to take responsibility in a fast-growing SaaS scale-up.
As a Bid Manager Assistant Intern, you will play a key role in supporting WasteHero’s tender and bid processes from start to finish. You will work closely with experienced bid managers, commercial leaders, and founders to ensure that tenders are well-coordinated, compliant, and delivered on time.
This role is ideal for students interested in project management, business development, and structured commercial work, who enjoy balancing big-picture goals with attention to detail.
Track deadlines, requirements, and milestones for ongoing bids and tenders
Coordinate input from senior stakeholders, contract owners, and internal teams
Support planning, reviews, validation sessions, and submission processes
Help ensure that bid materials are complete, compliant, and high quality
Maintain and improve internal bid tracking and documentation processes
Use digital collaboration and project management tools to streamline workflows
Actively use AI tools to support document review, structuring, and efficiency
Support ad hoc commercial and bid-related projects as needed
You are a student (any field; business, engineering, law, or project management is a plus)
Highly organized and structured, with strong follow-through
Detail-oriented and comfortable working with deadlines and multiple priorities
Proactive and clear communicator with strong English skills (Danish is a plus)
Confident using digital tools (Google Workspace, Excel, Notion, project tools)
Comfortable and curious about using AI tools to improve productivity
Interested in SaaS, business development, and public/private tender processes
Hands-on experience in bid and project management
