We are looking for more than just a backlog administrator. We are looking for a Product Leader to take full ownership of the absolute core of our platform: CRM, Route Planning, and Pricing Engine.
These areas are the heart of our customers' operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that waste operators can manage their customers efficiently, plan optimal routes to save CO2 and costs, and handle complex billing models without error.

You ask the hard questions to uncover their true pains and bridge the gap between their reality and our logic.
Relationship Builder: You are a key representative of WasteHero, meeting customers at eye level. Whether it’s solving a critical operational pain or realising a customer’s dream for automation, you build trust-based relationships that turn customers into partners.
Squad Leadership: You are the heartbeat of your team. It is your responsibility to foster positive team dynamics across locations. You ensure the developers are not just coding, but are aligned, motivated, and moving in the same direction towards a shared vision.
Commercial Mindset: Resources are scarce, and you treat them as an investment. You apply ruthless prioritisation to ensure every hour spent by your team maximises strategic outcomes for the business. You know when to say "no" to nice-to-have features to ensure our core engine is robust and profitable.
Own the Core Domains: Manage the product domains CRM, Route Planning, and Pricing.
Superior usability: Ensure our CRM creates a seamless overview for the users, with emphasis on fast and intutive user journeys.
Tackle Complexity: Work with engineering to simplify complex problems – from route optimisation algorithms to flexible pricing hierarchies.
Data-Driven Decisions: Use usage metrics and direct customer feedback to decide which improvements will yield the highest operational value for our clients.
Proven Experience: 3+ years as a Product Owner or Product Manager in SaaS or enterprise software.
Analytical Mindset: You are comfortable working with complex logic. Experience with products involving logistics, maps, billing, or financial calculations is a huge plus.
Leadership Qualities: Experience in leading agile teams, facilitating ceremonies, and creating a safe, high-performing team environment.
Commercial Acumen: You understand that our pricing engine and routing efficiency directly impact our customers' bottom line – and ours.
Communication: Fluent in English. You can explain complex logic in simple terms to stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in municipal, public sector, logistics, or utility software.
Familiarity with Tech (understanding back- and frontend complexity is helpful for these domains).
