VentriJect is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Student Assistant to join our team. This role sits at the intersection of Finance and Commercial Operations, playing a vital part in tracking our growth and ensuring our financial workflows run smoothly. If you are a finance or economics student eager to apply your skills to a fast-growing HealthTech startup, we want to hear from you!
VentriJect is a Danish health tech company on a mission to revolutionize how cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) is measured. We've developed the ground-breaking Seismofit® System, an innovative health solution using advanced AI to provide accurate VO₂max estimates in under three minutes—without exercise. Our solution is currently scaling across healthcare and wellness providers globally.
You will support the commercial and finance functions, ensuring our revenue data is accurate and providing the insights needed to manage our growing customer base. Your responsibilities include:
Invoicing & Financial Support: Taking ownership of the invoicing process. You will ensure accuracy, manage timely delivery to clients, and assist with tracking receivables and payment status.
SaaS & Financial Analysis: Monitoring and reporting on core financial KPIs, including Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR), Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), Churn rates, and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC).
Customer Management Reporting: Building and maintaining reports that track customer health and engagement. You will provide analysis to help the team identify accounts at risk of churn or those ready for expansion.
Business Support & Reporting: Creating clear dashboards and ad-hoc reports to communicate commercial performance to stakeholders. You will translate raw data into actionable insights for the management team.
Commercial Strategy Support: Providing data-driven insights to help shape our pricing models, customer retention efforts, and financial forecasting.
Data Integrity: Ensuring that our CRM and financial records are aligned and up-to-date to maintain a "single source of truth" for the business.
Academic Background: Currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s program (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Management). Preferably you are on your 1st year of your Master's Program.
The "Finance Brain": You have a strong understanding of financial principles and a natural eye for spotting discrepancies in data.
Excel Power User: You are highly proficient in Excel (pivot tables, financial modeling logic) and comfortable visualizing data.
Analytical Rigor: You don't just report numbers; you enjoy digging into the "why" behind the data to support customer management decisions.
Meticulous & Proactive: You take pride in accuracy and are comfortable taking ownership of recurring financial tasks like invoicing.
Language: Excellent communication skills in English.
Hands-on Finance Experience: Deep insight into the financial mechanics and revenue operations of a scaling HealthTech company.
Impact: Your reports will directly influence how we manage our customers and shape our commercial strategy.
Flexibility: We value your education; working hours (approx. 15 hours/week) are flexible to accommodate exams and lectures.
Culture: A dynamic, supportive, and mission-driven environment in the heart of the Danish startup scene.
If this something for you, apply today! We plan to do interviews in early January, with start-date for the role in February.
