We're looking for a Finance & Payroll Specialist to join our growing ecommerce team and take ownership of our daily financial operations. If you enjoy accounting, payroll execution, and maintaining clarity in financial data, this is the opportunity for you. As our first finance hire, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping our financial processes accurate, scalable, and efficient.

Ventura Brands Oy was founded in 2019 and operates multiple brands, selling products online through Amazon and our own website. We are experiencing fast growth this year with strong profitability as we continue expanding our product lines and brand portfolio. We have served over 200,000 customers globally, and our reach continues to grow. One of our key brands Silvery, is revolutionizing the bedding industry with silver-infused technology that enhances sleep hygiene and comfort. In 2026 brand will enter U.S. retail and expand its technologically advanced sleep product portfolio.

Your day-to-day work and responsibilities will include:

Finance & Accounting

• Managing and processing receipts, invoices, and accounts payable

• Handling day-to-day bookkeeping in Procountor

• Preparing and executing payments on schedule

• Reconciling accounts and ensuring financial data accuracy

• Maintaining weekly cashflow reports

• Prepare accurate monthly financial reports

Payroll & Compliance

• Preparing and running monthly payroll

• Calculating holiday pay and managing employee payroll records

• Ensuring compliance with Finnish payroll laws and reporting obligations

Process Development

• Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve financial workflows

• Supporting the implementation of new tools and automation

• Helping build scalable finance processes as the company grows

This position is for you if you have:

• At least 2–3 years of experience in accounting, payroll, or finance operations

• Knowledge of Finnish payroll legislation, holiday pay rules, and payroll cycles

• Experience with Procountor

• A proactive and independent work style, you take ownership of outcomes

• Good English skills, our daily work happens in both Finnish and English

• A genuine interest in working in the ecommerce sector
