We’re looking for a reliable, detail-driven, quietly confident Research Assistant to support our highly experienced Grants & Funding Officer. This role is the engine behind our funding strategy. Your research will help determine where we focus our efforts, which opportunities we pursue, and how we grow.
This isn’t just administrative work — it’s foundational work. You’ll be the person who uncovers the opportunities that fuel our mission. If you love structure, enjoy working independently, and take pride in work that others depend on, you’ll fit right in.
Systematically identify 4–6 strong funding opportunities per month across grants, competitions, accelerators, soft funding programs, angel networks, and VC funds
Assess opportunities for eligibility, mission alignment, funding size, timeline, and strategic fit
Monitor key sources — funding databases, government portals, EU programs, foundation sites, investor platforms
Track deadlines and maintain a clear, prioritised pipeline
Prepare concise summaries for each opportunity: requirements, funding amounts, deadlines, complexity, and rationale

Experience in grant research or fundraising support
Familiarity with EU funding programs (Horizon Europe, EIC, etc.)
Strong research skills and proficiency in navigating databases and funding platforms

Self-managed work style; proactive and dependable
Interest in social impact, mental health, loneliness, or tech-for-good
Knowledge of the Nordic/Scandinavian funding landscape
Background in mental health, social impact, or community-building
Understanding of startup funding and investor types
