AI Technical Partner
Location: Remote

About Parlia AI
Parlia AI is reimagining how Government Relations (GR) teams produce policy-facing documents. Today, these teams spend countless hours drafting structured, templated content — ministerial letters, submissions, talking points, and briefing notes.
Our goal is to build a purpose-built AI platform that learns from an organisation’s historical materials to generate high-quality, on-brand, and policy-aligned outputs, freeing professionals to focus on strategy rather than manual drafting.
We’re now seeking a strategic technical partner to lead the AI architecture and development for this system. The collaboration will begin with a paid proof of concept (POC) designed to validate the approach and potentially evolve into a longer-term, equity-based partnership for full product build-out.
About the POC
The POC will run for approximately 4–5 weeks (part-time) and involve close, iterative collaboration with Parlia’s team. It will test whether AI can reliably generate high-quality, structured content using reference materials such as past submissions, templates, and tone/style guides.
You’ll develop a lightweight backend (no front-end required) capable of orchestrating document parsing, vector-based content retrieval, and template integration. The POC’s success will determine both technical feasibility and partnership fit for the full-scale MVP.
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking an individual with the following expertise:
Strong experience in AI/ML and frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow
Strong experience with vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
Excellent Python development skills
Experience with AWS (highly valued)
Practical understanding of structured data ingestion, document parsing, and LLM orchestration
A pragmatic mindset prioritising functionality and learning over heavy architecture
Interest in long-term startup opportunities and building from the ground up
Engagement details
Duration: 4–5 weeks (part-time, flexible scheduling)
Compensation: Paid POC (USD $2,000)
Follow-on: Potential equity partnership for full system build-out
Collaboration: Iterative back-and-forth with Parlia’s founder and technical adviser for feedback and refinement
Reporting: Weekly check-ins, final presentation of results
