SENIOR AI PRODUCT DEVELOPER (SEARCH & PERSONALIZATION) 

Relovie is a startup in the circular economy space with the vision of making it easier to find and shop for second-hand items online. Our platform is an AI-driven aggregator that collects products from a large number of e-commerce sites and online marketplaces into a single user-friendly and searchable website. By consolidating and structure the fragmented and item unique market we make it easier for consumers to find, compare, and get alerts for second-hand offerings. We are a team of experienced entrepreneurs who are passionate about sustainability and innovative solutions in e-commerce.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a developer who is passionate, curious, and wants to help shape our technical future. With a focus on advanced and efficient AI, you will play a central role in elevating our platform's core experience, specifically improving our search engine, recommendations, and personalization capabilities. Your work will include applying creative new thinking and cutting edge AI techniques to solve the challenges of clustering, searching and understanding a very large, and always changing, unique set of products.

Initially, this is a project-based assignment, but assuming the right fit, there are good opportunities for continued collaboration and possibly company stake. It is a perfect opportunity if you’re a freelancer or run your own business, and want to put effort into a project that not only has technical depth but also a purpose that makes a difference.

ABOUT YOU

You are an ambitious and motivated individual who strives to find the best technical solutions. You have a strong foundation in programming and a knack for creative problem-solving. You are quick to familiarize yourself with existing technology, tasks, and customer needs. You are accustomed to taking responsibility and can work independently, but are good at communicating and collaborating. You have experience developing circular services or are a heavy user of services with second-hand offerings. You are fluent in Swedish and/or English. You are a freelancer and take on assignments that match your knowledge and passion.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of 3 years of full-time experience in backend or fullstack development

• Expert knowledge of the AI, ML, and LLM landscape, including current capabilities, inherent limitations, and emerging trends. 

• A passion for staying current with the latest technology advancements.

• A plus: Worked within the circular economy space, or is very familiar with the ecosystem

• Fluent in Swedish and/or English
