We’re looking for a curious and analytical intern to join our team as a Data Research & Insights Intern. In this role, you’ll help us search, identify, and interpret information and data relevant to our work and the wider startup ecosystem.

You’ll be responsible for gathering and processing data from both public sources and internal databases, analysing findings, and helping us turn insights into meaningful understanding. The data will mainly relate to the startup and investment ecosystem, but your work may also include qualitative research, such as gathering insights through interviews.

The ideal candidate is a recent graduate or a student nearing the end of their studies in fields such as data science, statistics, business analytics, entrepreneurship, or economics. Most importantly, you’re curious and analytical by nature and eager to learn as you go.

Your work will directly support our strategic projects and communications by bringing clarity and evidence to how the Finnish and international startup ecosystems are evolving.

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant field or close to graduation

• Experience in researching, interpreting, and processing data

• Working proficiency in English (Finnish not required)

• Familiarity with data tools such as Google Sheets or Excel

• A self-starter who enjoys taking initiative and ownership

• Detail-oriented, with a knack for turning numbers into insights

• Understanding of the Finnish startup ecosystem is a plus

• Compensation: €1,500/month
