Who we are

At HeyCompanion, we’re building an AI-powered discovery layer that makes streaming interactive. Viewers can instantly discover and act on what they see — actors, outfits, products, locations, and more — directly from their phones while watching TV.

We’re preparing to launch our closed beta and moving toward our first pilot integrations with streaming partners. To support this next stage of development, we’re expanding our core technical team with a Python developer who will help shape the product’s long-term architecture and intelligence.

You’ll be building the intelligent backend that powers our AI capabilities — working with multiple specialized models and external APIs to deliver seamless, real-time experiences.

💻 What you’ll be doing

• Architect a modular system where specialized LLM models handle distinct tasks

• Develop Python-based pipelines for orchestrating model calls and routing tasks

• Integrate external APIs for data enrichment and real-time information retrieval

• Containerize components in Docker and deploy on Microsoft Azure

• Monitor and optimize performance, scalability, and reliability

• Contribute to prompt engineering, testing, and technical documentation
