Design Engineer (Figma + React) - Take Lead on EV-Remarketing's Platform Design

About EV-Remarketing

We're digitalizing Europe's used EV market. What started as Excel sheets and email threads is now a full-scale platform handling intelligent pricing, fraud detection, logistics, and marketplace sales. As one of Europe's largest buyers, we import close to 10% of all used EVs in Denmark.

We're a profitable Danish family business based in Aarhus, sustainable (literally), and building something that actually works. Now we're ready to evolve the platform's design and experience, and we need someone to lead that charge.


The Product You'll Shape

You'll be working on a platform that includes:

  • Seller flow: Private sellers across Europe submit their EVs, guided through photos, damage marking, legal steps, and factory resets

  • Admin panel: Pricing suggestions, fraud detection (OCR, face recognition, geolocation), logistics optimization, and inventory management

  • Dealer marketplace: A B2B marketplace where selected dealers buy cars (launching soon)

  • Marketing site: SEO-optimized Webflow site driving leads across Europe


What You'll Do

Design & Strategy (~50%)

  • Own the entire platform's visual design and user experience - from the seller-facing flow to the admin panel to upcoming marketplace features

  • Lead our design system in Figma and drive design decisions that shape how the product evolves

  • Partner directly with the Tech Lead on product strategy, weighing in on what we build next and why

  • Manage and develop our SEO-optimized marketing website in Webflow

  • Design flows that handle complexity gracefully - think offer management dashboards, fraud detection tools, logistics coordination, and cross-border transactions

Development (~50%)

  • Implement your designs using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Chakra UI

  • Ship features that matter - responsive interfaces, intuitive workflows, and experiences that scale across Europe

  • Collaborate with the dev team to bring everything from concept to production

  • Balance polish with pragmatism - we move fast but care about quality


What We're Looking For

  • Design capability: Strong command of Figma and the ability to lead design initiatives and own the platform's look and feel

  • Frontend expertise: Solid experience with React, TypeScript, Chakra UI, CSS, and HTML (Next.js is a plus)

  • Webflow proficiency: You know how to build and maintain marketing sites that actually convert

  • Technical fluency: Comfortable with Git, development workflows, and shipping clean code

  • Product thinking: You understand users, can simplify complexity, and think strategically about what makes good software

  • Communication: You can articulate your ideas, collaborate effectively, and challenge assumptions constructively

  • Systems mindset: You design for scale - whether it's a design system, a complex workflow, or a marketplace with multiple user types

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years bridging design and development, ideally on products with some complexity

  • Marketing curiosity (optional): Bonus points if you enjoy shaping our visual brand beyond the product - like designing assets or posts for LinkedIn or Instagram.
