CTO / Technical Co-Founder – Bloom (iOS Wellness App for Dancers)

Location: Remote (Preferably EU time zone) (We're Based in Sweden)

Commitment: Part-time leading to full-time

Compensation: 5–10% equity (based on contribution and milestones)

About Bloom

Bloom is a wellness app built for dancers, by dancers, currently being developed for iOS. Our mission is to help dancers track their mood, sleep, and performance, and use that data to improve mental health, recovery, and motivation.

We’ve validated our concept with a live prototype and strong traction in the global dance community. Our next step is to launch our v0.2 iOS app, built on Supabase + PostgreSQL, and scale it to studios and individual dancers worldwide.

Bloom was founded by Arthur Erlanson and Lincoln Sharp, both professional ballet dancers and entrepreneurs driven to revolutionize the dance world by bringing modern wellness tools to its community.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a CTO / technical co-founder who’s ready to take full ownership of Bloom’s technical direction and architecture. You’ll be leading the build of our iOS app backend and integrations, collaborating with a small, mission-driven team.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading development of the iOS app’s backend (Supabase / PostgreSQL)

• Collaborating with the frontend team, building the React-based iOS interface

• Setting up a scalable database structure for mood, sleep, and activity data

• Implementing AI integrations

• Designing and maintaining internal tools for analytics and recommendations

• Shaping Bloom’s long-term technical vision and roadmap

You’re a good fit if you:

• Have experience with iOS app development, especially with React Native

• Are skilled in PostgreSQL, Supabase, and API design

• Enjoy building MVPs fast and iterating based on user feedback

• Can translate product goals into clean, maintainable tech

• Thrive in early-stage environments where you build from the ground up

• Want real equity and ownership in something meaningful
