As part of our continued expansion in Europe, we’re looking for ambitious students to join our Bid & Commercial Team as Growth & Tender Analysts. You’ll help us identify new opportunities, validate market potential, and support the preparation of winning tenders that drive WasteHero’s growth.

🎯 About the Role

As a Growth & Tender Analyst intern, you’ll play a key role in driving WasteHero’s growth pipeline. Your focus will be on lead generation, tender discovery, and market research within the public and private sector.

The internship starts in January 2026 and follows the university semester until summer 2026. We’re looking for students who can commit for the full semester and are eager to take on real commercial responsibility alongside their studies.

You’ll learn how public and private tenders work in practice — from early market dialogues to formal tendering — and how technology companies like WasteHero compete and win. You’ll collaborate with our commercial and bid teams to ensure that each identified opportunity aligns with our strategic goals and market priorities.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business development, market intelligence and tender management, while contributing directly to real commercial outcomes.

⚙️ Responsibilities

• Monitor and identify public tender opportunities on platforms like TendersOnTime, EU Supply, and similar

• Validate and qualify opportunities based on WasteHero’s offering, eligibility criteria and strategic fit

• Support early market dialogues with municipalities and partners to assess potential leads and gather insights

• Conduct market and competitor research to inform bid strategy and positioning

• Collaborate with the bid team to prepare supporting material for proposals and qualifications

• Maintain and update internal lead databases and tender tracking tools

• Assist with performance reporting on tender outcomes, win/loss tracking, and pipeline health

• Contribute to content improvement in the bid library, ensuring up-to-date and compelling materials

  
  

🧩 What We’re Looking For

• You’re a student in business, law, economics, political science, communication or a related field

• Curious, analytical, and proactive with a structured working style

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Danish or another EU language is a plus)

• Interested in learning how to use online tender platforms, analyzing and structuring information

• Detail-oriented and organized, with an interest in public sector innovation and sustainability

• Confident using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft equivalents

• A team player eager to learn and contribute to a fast-paced, international environment
