first bookings already in
We’re based at the Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship (CSE), surrounded by founders, mentors, and investors, and now looking for a Founding Engineer to take full technical ownership and help build the product that powers spontaneous living across Europe.
Role Description
This isn’t a “developer job.” It’s an ownership role for someone who wants to build a startup from zero.
You’ll work directly with the founder to:
Make our MVP (React + Supabase) faster, smarter, and sexier.
Build our mobile layer and translate the web app into a native-like experience.
Create internal systems that let us scale across cities.
Shape technical direction, product architecture, and culture.
You’ll be the first technical hire - setting the tone for everything that follows.
Commitment: 25–35 hrs/week (hybrid at CSE + flexible remote)
Compensation: flexible contract-based role with fair hourly pay and potential equity after funding
Responsibilities
Lead product development: from prototype to production.
Build new features: event aggregation, partner dashboard, booking flow, FOMO triggers (“3 spots left”, countdowns, exclusives).
Improve mobile-first UX and UI.
Integrate new APIs (Mindbody, Ticketmaster etc).
Maintain system performance, deploy fast, iterate faster.
Work closely with the founder on roadmap, metrics, and feedback loops.
Who you are
2–5 years in full-stack or frontend (TypeScript + React; Next.js/Supabase a plus).
Care about product, design, and user experience - not just clean code.
Thrive in early-stage chaos and love shipping fast.
Based in Copenhagen or nearby (regular presence at CSE).
Nice to Have:
Experience in consumer apps, marketplaces, or booking systems.
Familiarity with Stripe, analytics, or AI-driven features.
Curiosity for growth, UX, and automation.
Experience in no-code tools like Lovable, Rapier and Claude.
What You Get
Real ownership in a growing startup.
Work from CSE’s founder hub with direct exposure to investors and mentors.
Zero bureaucracy - just building and momentum.
Hybrid freedom: 2-3 office days/week, rest remote.
Strong recommendation + potential equity upon long-term commitment.
Why This Role Matters
We’re not another app. We’re building the infrastructure for spontaneous living - the same way Too Good To Go changed food waste. If you want to see your code turn into real experiences for thousands of people every week, this is your shot.
