Spritju is building the future of energy traceability. Our SaaS platform helps companies track, verify, and report their renewable energy use, enabling real-time climate action, sustainability reporting, and compliance with emerging regulations.

We simplify how companies procure and match energy certificates and report their consumption transparently. Our vision: match every kilowatt-hour of consumption with its generation source, hour by hour. This is where you come in.

🚀 The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on technical leader who’s excited to shape and build a product from the ground up, not just manage a team. You’ll join Spritju as CTO / Founding Engineer, working closely with the founders to define the product architecture, build core features, and scale the platform.

This is an equity-based founding role. We know many great builders keep a day job at first,  that’s fine. What matters is that you’re driven to build ownership, take responsibility, and grow with the company.

We’re not looking for a corporate CTO who delegates everything, we need a builder who can lead, who knows what to build and how to build it.

You’ll be joining at a critical stage: we have a live MVP https://app.spritju.com/ and user feedback. Now we’re focused on making the product faster, clearer, and scalable for global energy markets.

What You’ll Work On

• Lead product & technical direction: architecture, scalability, and feature roadmap

• Build core platform features, dashboards, marketplace flows, user experience

• Automate energy data imports (e.g. APIs, smart meters, market feeds)

• Design intuitive interfaces and data visualizations for 24/7 traceability

• Shape Spritju’s technology culture and, over time, build your own team

Project examples:

• Refactor platform structure for performance and usability

• Improve dashboards & marketplace UX

• Automate data pipelines from energy markets or customer APIs

• Optimize buyer-seller flows on the marketplace

• Scale platform reliability as we onboard new partners across Europe

About You

You might be a senior engineer, tech lead, or product-minded CTO who’s ready to apply your skills in a founding context.

Must-haves:

• Strong web development background (e.g. React, Bootstrap, HTML/CSS, APIs)

• Comfort building and shipping product independently

• Strategic mindset, can define and prioritize what to build, not just execute

• Entrepreneurial drive, hands-on problem solver, comfortable with ambiguity

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with energy markets, traceability, or sustainability tech

• Worked on SaaS marketplaces or B2B data platforms

• Familiarity with API integrations, data pipelines, or blockchain tech

• Previous early-stage startup or founding team experience
