At BlinkTroll, we’re building next-generation training systems and defense technology used by military and police forces across Europe. Our mission is simple but urgent: to support the defenders of the free world with powerful, practical, and life-saving technology.
We’re currently looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer to join our R&D team, someone with strong experience in firmware development for STM32 microcontrollers, real-time digital signal processing, and embedded system integration. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work on advanced, performance-critical systems in a small, ambitious, and purpose-driven startup.
What You’ll Do
Develop and maintain embedded firmware in C for STM32 microcontrollers.
Implement real-time DSP algorithms and perform advanced signal analysis.
Work closely with electronics, software, and mechanical engineers to deliver fully integrated systems.
Design and integrate communication protocols (UART, SPI, I²C, CAN).
Support system bring-up, debugging, and optimization in both lab and field conditions.
Contribute to documentation, testing procedures, and continuous improvement of embedded systems.
Participate in PCB design reviews and collaborate on hardware–software integration.
(Nice to have) Assist with low-power design, FPGA/DSP module integration, and C++.
Who You Are
2–4 years of professional experience in embedded software engineering (or equivalent skill level).
Strong proficiency in Embedded C for MCU platforms.
Experienced with STM32 microcontrollers.
Solid understanding of real-time signal processing concepts.
Hands-on experience with communication protocols (UART, SPI, I²C, CAN).
Practical experience with PCB design or PCB design reviews.
You thrive in fast-moving, high-responsibility environments where your work directly impacts outcomes.
Based in or near Odense, or willing to work on-site most of the time.
Curious, reliable, and motivated to contribute to a mission-driven team.
What We Offer
A meaningful mission and real-world impact.
A hands-on, collaborative office in the heart of Odense’s robotics and defense ecosystem.
A voice in product and technical direction from day one.
Flexible hours (we’re office-first, but life happens).
Strong team culture.
Room to grow with the company.
