We’re looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our People team in Helsinki.
Manage the Finnish payroll while supervising global payroll processing through Remote.
Partner with our US-based People Operations Specialist to provide day-to-day HR support for employees and managers worldwide.
Manage benefits administration and ensure policies, processes, and documentation run smoothly across the employee lifecycle.
Implement process improvements and support compliance with local and global regulations.
Running monthly Finnish payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and coordinating payroll across global entities.
Liaising with Finance and payroll vendors on changes, reconciliations, and reporting.
Responding to employee and manager queries via the Jira HR ticketing system.
Supporting onboarding cohorts and offboarding processes to ensure smooth employee transitions.
Managing accurate employee records in our HRIS (HiBob) and overseeing time and attendance administration.
Administering benefits (healthcare, insurance, allowances), acting as the point of contact for employees and providers.
Communicating and promoting benefits programs to increase employee awareness.
Conducting audits of HR processes and documentation, and maintaining policies aligned with company objectives.
Ensuring compliance with employment law and escalating complex cases when needed.
2–4 years of experience in People Operations, HR, or a similar role in a global environment.
Thorough understanding of Finnish payroll practices, along with experience in global payroll coordination.
Experience administering employee benefits and working with HRIS systems (HiBob) and ticketing tools (Jira a plus).
Comfort with policies, compliance requirements, and audits.
A service-minded, organised, and detail-oriented approach with a motivated “can-do” attitude.
Effective communication skills in English and the ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving, collaborative setting.
